I'm fine with routing out to my DAW, but I like it even more when my drums are one Stereo Inst Track in Pro Tools, and if I want to tweak the drums, I open up the drum software. Tons of built in effects: I have dreamed of a day when I could seriously do ALL of my drum arranging and mixing in one interface. Rough on the old eyes too (didn't used to be this way, but things change after 40!) There was always the old adage of EZD2 was for songwriters, and SD2 was for "serious" drum production.
